Deri said in his statement: "I acceded to the request of my friend, Minister Moshe Arbel, that in light of the great burden placed on his shoulders, and especially that he initially took up his position temporarily as a minister in two ministries – the Interior and Health, and in light of his request to focus on his role as a minister in the Ministry of the Interior, I have now decided, with the approval of the Council of Torah Sages, that in light of the state of emergency in the State of Israel and the great responsibility that the Shas party has in two important ministries with great responsibility for the citizens of Israel and the local authorities - MK Uriel Bosso will be appointed Minister of Health, And Minister Arbel will continue in his role as interior minister."
